Treasurer (Board position)
Tracking and reconciling transactions
Manage incoming and outgoing payments
Create yearly budgets and event-specific budgets
Complete and submit taxes and annual IRS reports
Join PVP meetings
Time commitment: 10-20 hours per month
Accounting experience required
PVP Admin
Check PO Box regularly
Attend PVP Meetings
Manage the PVP Info email
Respond to any inquiries submitted via our website
Keep track of assigned tasks and follow up
Maintain PVP’s internal calendar
Volunteer Coordinator
Volunteer Outreach
Manage and coordinate with volunteers at events
Work with Board on volunteer needs
Join at least 1 PVP meeting a month
Scholarship Coordinator
Update and manage yearly scholarship application
Outreach to local high schools/queer clubs
Post scholarship to all local scholarship sites
Coordinate a Scholarship Applicant review with the PVP Board
Public Relations Coordinator
Attend local events and represent PVP
Manage tabling at other events
Networking on behalf of PVP
Outreach to local orgs and businesses
Stay up to date on local and national current events and prepare public statements when appropriate
Attend at least 1 PVP meeting a month
Marketing Coordinator
Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms
Create graphics to post on social media
Maintain website and event calendar
Attend at least 1 PVP meeting a month
Preferred but not required: General knowledge of Google Workspace, Instagram, Facebook and Squarespace
Fundraiser Coordinator
Brainstorm fundraising ideas
Build relationships with local orgs/businesses
Initiate fundraising events
Grant Writer
Seek out grants that PVP qualifies for
Gather necessary paperwork and apply for grants
Keep track of grants awarded and make sure all grant requirements are being met
