Pajaro Valley Pride Board Members

Pajaro Valley Pride was formed in 2015 by a group of locals who saw a need for LGBTQIA2S+ visibility in Watsonville and the surrounding Pajaro Valley.

From the beginning, it was about more than just celebrating pride once a year; it was about creating community.

Since our conception, we’ve awarded thousands in scholarships, cultivated a drag scene in Watsonville, held dozens of events, established partnerships with local businesses and organizations and most importantly, created safe space. 

We continue to do the work with no expectation of reward and with the hope that one day, EVERYONE in our community can feel completely safe to be 100% themselves.

The only reward needed is to see the smiles on the faces of the people who show up.
